Villa Athena (of Kallergi family) is a 280 m² villa located in the picturesque village of Loutra, with sea view and in just a few minutes drive to the beach and 10km from the vivid Rethymno city. It has 6 suites extending on 4 levels with a capacity of 14 persons in total. In the area, there are various taverns and supermarket.
There are on total 4 spacious outdoor lounge and dining areas over 4 levels. At level 1, the thick vegetation offers great relaxation in the terrace and the swimming pool. At level 2, there is another terrace with a large white table while indoors, there is the villa’s lounge and a concert piano. Right next, there is the main kitchen fully equipped. On the 1st floor, there is a veranda with olive trees under the shadow of a 200-year old vine wrapped around a trellis. The entrances for the Persephone, Dimitra and Elia suites are found in this veranda. On level 4, in a terrace surrounded with thick vegetation and offering an amazing view of the olive groves and the sea, guests can sunbathe. At a slightly higher level, there is a dining room with a trellis.

Pluto suite: Double bed, bathroom with a shower & toilet. It has a comfortable sofa and is located next to the swimming pool.
Poseidon Suite: double bed, bathroom with bathtub & toilet. It has a view of the swimming pool
Elia suite: two-levels (maisonette) suite. Double bed, lounge & dining room. Range, fridge, bathroom with bathtub & toilet. It has a fantastic view of the vast olive groves that virtually reach the seashore and the village’s traditional alleys.
Athena suite: two single beds, electric range, fridge, bathroom with a shower & toilet. It is located next to the pool on the first floor, with white marble flooring and a private balcony overlooking the pool and all other windows have a view of the village.
Persephone suite: double bed, bathroom with bathtub & toilet, range & fridge. The entry is from the veranda with the olive trees and the coffee shop tables.
Demeter suite: double bed, convertible sofa double bed (2 extra people) living room; Range, fridge & bathroom with shower & toilet. This suite has a view to a picturesque village alley at the one side and a view to the veranda with the olive groves at the other side.
The villa is located next to the village’s square where there is a spacious parking area. In the square, one can also see parts of an old olive press with its large millstones.
Loutra village lies on the main road from Pigi to Arkadi and is situated in the midst of olive groves, and is characterized by its narrow cobbled streets and bougainvillea plants, Venetian buildings and the blazons of the Kallergi family. Visitors of Loutra have the opportunity to visit the fabrika (old oil mill), which was used a few decades ago for oil pressing, the medieval fountain with the Turkish inscription, and in the vicinity the famous beautiful monasteries of Arkadi and Arsani.
